Welcoming EP's inaugural class of Fellows, 2018-2019

Essential Partners recently welcomed the inaugural class of the EP Fellows Program!

The purpose of this invitation-only pilot fellowship is to provide intensive training for a group of engaged community members who, in the future, might also join Essential Partners as practitioners to work across North America and the globe.

At the conclusion of this year-long program, the fellows will have a deep grounding in EP's approach to dialogue—a grounding based in theory, practice, supervision/consultation, peer group consultation, and reflections with the Essential Partners staff.

The 2018-2019 fellows are:

• Nick Adlington, who is based in London and works as a mediator and dialogue consultant;
• Brian Blancke, an alum of our Power of Dialogue (POD) workshop, who is an accomplished negotiator, aikido practitioner, and principal at Vantage Partners;
• Nadiya Brock, who has trained and taught with the Harvard Mediation and Negotiation Program and with Essential Partners (EP) while she pursued her Master's degree at Harvard Divinity School;
• Rosi Greenberg, a recent graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, who has trained with Ron Heifetz in Adaptive Leadership and works with Marshall Ganz in public narrative;
• Danielle Isbell, a recent Master of Theological Studies graduate from Boston University, who did her practicum with EP over the past year;
• Adam Motenko, an EP Board member who trained at Harvard’s Mediation and Negotiation Program before working in Career Services at the Heller School and Brandeis and receiving his Master of Nonprofit Management there;
• Eliza O’Neil, a recent graduate of Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, who has been consulting with EP on curriculum development for secondary schools and is about to begin a position at Seeds of Peace in New York City;
• Eric Roberts, a New England Coastal Resilience Specialist for The Nature Conservancy, who holds a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Planning and Conservation Ecology from the University of Michigan and who also served with the Peace Corps in Paraguay;
• Kimberly Shaw, a faculty member in technology and physical education at Cary Academy, who has a masters in Educational Leadership and Administration and has facilitated campus dialogues at Cary and police/community dialogues with EP in Raleigh, NC.
